It’s easy! Just visit www.jomsettle.com and follow the sign-up instructions there. All you need to provide for account creation is a valid email address and mobile phone number.

When can I start using jomSETTLE?

You can start to make payment with jomSETTLE once your EKYC has been approved through our system. Once approved, jomSETTLE will notify you via email and you can start to use jomSETTLE.

What is the difference between business and personal account?

Business account has more payment types eg supplier bills and staff salaries. EKYC for business requires SSM documents. 1 User can have 2 different account type.

Can I register a Business Account for my company?

Yes, Providing that your name is printed on your company SSM CERTIFICATE as one of the Board of Directors. If you not on the list of Directors, jomSETTLE will provide you with an authorization Letter Template for you to fill up with your company Stamp. The document need to attached together with SSM document upon eKYC submission. Please contact our Customer Care for further assistance.

Can I use the same email address for personal and business account?

No, as all account needs a unique email address to register.

Do I need to register with the same contact number that was registered for my credit card TAC verification?

No, as long as you have your credit card TAC number during transaction.

I don't have a Malaysia phone number, can I still sign up?

No, as we only accept valid Malaysia contact number.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

As per Regulatory Requirements, we need to know who you are. This helps to keep your money safe and fight money laundering.

How does the e-KYC process work?

You will be asked to upload valid ID images (MyKad or Passport) using your Webcam, File Upload, or Mobile. In addition, you are required to upload your MyKad Front, Back, and do facial scanning for Face Verification process.

Do I need a webcam for the e-KYC process?

If you do not have a working webcam connected, you can upload an image file of your ID instead or upload using your mobile phone.

Can I upload a black-and-white image of my document?

In order to verify all the security features, we need a full-color scan of your document.

What is the timeline for e-KYC approval?

This process can take between 3 to 5 minutes depending on the options selected and the quality of lighting, camera resolution and ID type chosen.

How will I know if my e-KYC is approved?

We will notify you via your registered email.

What happens if my e-KYC gets declined?

Please check if your ID is readable and fulfills the required criteria (i.e, Image ID is clear, readable, and can see the whole ID image). Then, try to scan the ID again or upload it manually with the File Upload method.

Are there any requirement and restriction of making transaction?

You need to have a valid local credit card together with supporting document for your payment.

Does the recipient need to have a registered account with jomSETTLE?

The recipient does not require to have an account with jomSETTLE.

Why do I need to provide supporting documents?

To ensure the transaction is legit, valid supporting document is needed. Verification team will verify the document with complete information of the transaction, e.g.: Recipient name, Recipient account number, bank details, transaction amount and etc.

I notice there are few payment purpose (eg rental, deposit, legal, maintenance), does it has each own supporting document required?

Yes. Different category of payment required different supporting documents.

Can I use jomSETTLE to pay back my other credit card?

No, you cannot use jomSETTLE to pay your credit card outstanding amount. However, you can use it to pay your loan, mortgage or hire purchase back to the bank.

What type of documents should I upload for personal loan payment?

Do you accept handwritten invoices or only computer-generated invoices?

Yes, handwritten invoices must come with a printed invoice template.

What is the minimum amount I can transfer using jomSETTLE?

Minimum transaction that can be transferred using jomSETTLE is RM300.

What is the maximum amount I can transfer using jomSETTLE?

RM29,000 per transaction is set as the limit. However, it is also subjected to the cardholder’s available limit at the time of transaction is made.

How long does it take for my payment to process?

Our commitment is to process your payment within T+3 working days. * Cut off time is 10.59 p.m. of any working day; any transaction made later than 11.00 p.m. on a working day will be processed on the next working day.

How will my recipient receive the payment?

jomSETTLE will transfer your payment directly into your recipient bank account.

What is the difference between payment using FPX and Visa Master?

You can choose FPX or Visa Master to make payment using your credit card.

a. FPX payment type – You will require to log in to your credit card issuer website and select your credit card from there to proceed with the payment.

b. Visa Master – All you have to do is key in your credit card details to make the payment.

Will there be any difference in transaction rate between FPX and Visa Master?

No different charges between both types of payment. The transaction fee charged by jomSETTLE is 2.5% for any payment made using jomSETTLE

Is Amex accepted?

jomSETTLE currently only accepts Malaysian-issued credit cards (VISA/Mastercard).

Can user without online banking use jomSETTLE?

Yes, Users without credit card online banking can now use jomSETTLE.

How do I know if my payment has been made to my recipient?

You will be notified via email together with a payment receipt. Payment status also can be checked at the “Payment History” section.

What shows up on my recipient's bank statement?

Mazer Fintech Sdn Bhd (www.jomsettle.com) will be stated in the recipient’s bank account statement.

I just realized my recipient bank account number was incorrect. How should I edit?

Why does my payment status show "Payment Reject"?

This could be due to; a. Invalid/Insufficient supporting document b. Your recipient in the sanction list/high-risk profile Alternatively, you may contact our Customer Care at care@jomsettle.com for assistance.

Problem with Credit Card (cannot make a payment/payment decline)

Your payment failed/decline potentially due to you have reach your credit card limit, expired credit card or barred. Please contact your credit card issuer to check on the status of your card.

Is my credit card being charged automatically when the schedule or recurring time is up?

No. You will receive an email reminder one day before your schedule or recurring payment set. You will have to log in and approve the specific transaction.

How can I cancel my transaction that is not yet approved?

Not compulsory. Your Customer can make payment to you without requiring them to register an account with jomSETTLE. But, they are encouraged to register for them to enjoy the jomSETTLE Loyalty program.

Is there any registration, commitment or hidden fee if I would like to use jomSETTLE Request Payment function?

No. All our transactions are charged based on the ‘Pay-Per-Use’ concept and the transaction fee is as low as 2.5% per usage.

What make jomSETTLE Request Payment different from other payment gateway or credit card terminal?

jomSETTLE Request Payment is a payment facility that enables you to accept credit card payment without the need of any Credit Card Terminal, website setup or Payment Gateway integration. There is no unnecessary fee required and we only charge the fee based on how much you receive. You also have the option to choose who bears the fee using the ‘Fee Toggle’ function.

What is the 'Fee Toggle' function?

Fee Toggle is a feature available for you to decide who will bear the Transaction Fee, either you or your Customer. If you, as the requester choose to bear the Transaction Fee, the Transaction Fee will be deducted from your payment amount requested. If your Customer bears the Transaction Fee, the fee will be charged on top of the amount they are paying you.

Would I receive the full payment amount if I bear the transaction fee?

No. The Transaction Fee will deduct from your payment amount requested. Thus, you are not receiving the full payment amount.

Would I receive the full payment amount if my customer bears the transaction fee?

Yes. The Transaction Fee will be charged on top of the total amount you requested your Customer to pay. Thus, you will receive the full payment amount.

Is there any payment link expiry imposed?

Yes, your payment link is only valid for up to 48 hours. If your Customer makes payment after 48 hours, you must resend the link by clicking the resend button function in the Request Payment dashboard.

Can I use the same link as a recurring payment link to my customer?

No, each link is unique and can only be sent to one individual at a time.

Am I being charged if my customer did not make the payment after receiving the link?

No. You will be charged if only your Customer makes the payment.

What are the minimum and maximum payment amount that I can request for each transaction?

The minimum transaction has to be at least RM 300 and the maximum transaction can not exceed RM 29,000. The payment has to be made using Malaysian-issued credit cards (VISA/Mastercard).

How if I accidentally make payment to myself?

All interactions on jomSETTLE must be lawful and must comply with Terms & Conditions. jomSETTLE users agree not to engage or use the services for sending money to yourself or for any purpose of cash advance to your personal or any associated business accounts. If you have accidentally made a payment to yourself, we will refund you money after we deduct the Transaction Fee.

Is jomSETTLE Request Payment function only available for the business account user?

No, the jomSETTLE Request Payment function is available for both Business and Personal account users.

Any information required to set up if I want to use jomSETTLE Request Payment?

You are required to update your Bank Account information first. Please go to the top right button and click ‘Bank Account’ to update your bank information.

Is my customer require to have an account with jomSETTLE?
