It was November 19th, 2021 that we finally tick off one of our bucket lists since the founding of jomSETTLE – Having our FIRST on-ground marketing event!<\/p>

This has been one of our founder’s top wishlist even before the pandemic.<\/p>

We attended Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention 2021 organized by Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) at KL Convention Centre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Scouting Day.... with jomSETTLE Cute and Adorable Bear Mascot <\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Like the saying, to achieve something, you first need to understand the situation. With this in mind, we send our scout to our partner Halal Development Corporation (HDC) booth to scout out the event.<\/p>

Well… I guess you can hardly call him a scout because of all the attention he’s getting. Yup, you guess it right. We send our bear mascot to sparkle things further.<\/p>

We are so happy that our cute and adorable bear mascot bring smiles and laughter to so many people there at the event. What caught so many people coming to our booth…our bear mascot can dance and groove like a dancer and Tik Toker.<\/p>

Out of our expectations, our bear got the chance and photo opportunity with Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda Selangor and Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Amiruddin Bin Shari, Menteri Besar Selangor during their tour in the event.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Day 1 - Is all about \"jomSETTLE provide two main services to help SMEs\"<\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In God’s goodwill, our booth is bombarded with visitors from the start of the event. With the 5 of us constantly explaining what is jomSETTLE to our interested visitors while our remaining team members provide support from the office.<\/p>

All of us are really happy to have so many visitors interested to know more about our services. We are proud to be part of jomSETTLE team.<\/p>

A little into the evening, as the crowd is getting lesser, we finally got the chance to visit other exhibitors that are in the same hall as us before ending the day.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Day 2 - A Surprise Visit<\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

That morning, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin announced on her social media that she will be visiting her booth which was located in the same hall as us.<\/p>

We as Malaysians who grow up in an era where Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is not a stranger to us. She is the Number 1 Singer in Malaysia. So some of us decided to volunteer to be on duty even though it is not our shift that day.<\/p>

It was around half past 3 that we saw a group of crowd marching into the hall. In the group, we saw Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza followed by a bunch of media taking videos and pictures.<\/p>

To our surprise, Dato\u2019 Seri Amiruddin Bin Shari, Menteri Besar Selangor was together with her in the group. Not only that, Yang Berhormat stopped at our booth wanted to know more about jomsettle!<\/p>

Day 3 - It is Exhausted but Fruitful.<\/p><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Marching into the last day for the event, it was not much to talk about except for all the tiredness and soreness in our legs.<\/p>

Despite the low traffic of visitors compared to the first and second days, we do however meet up with a few interesting representatives from other organizations. Some of them just manage to get out from their busy schedule to make a visit and some of them are other exhibitors from another hall.<\/p>

Oh ya, not to forget, our Founder got an interview by the event organizer that will be featured on their upcoming video.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We have successfully completed our first on-ground event and we are very happy and satisfied with the results and feedback we\u2019ve received from our visitors on our services.<\/p>

Most importantly, we managed to witness how all of our team members get out of their comfort zone. It is a good platform and learning curve. Our dedicated team members work together as a team. When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.<\/p>
